Region 5 Roundtable • KC KS

Round tables imply that we are equals, everyone has a voice, and leadership comes from the collective. We host Round tables each Spring and Fall for these reasons and more. Come, on in. You are welcome, and your voice is valued.

This year, more than ever, we gather to affirm that the Big C Church is a powerful witness for Jesus when we are unified. Love KC and Unite KC merged partly to make the statement that we are better together. We need each other. You can’t be “the Body” if you exist in a silo.

Round tables are places where people listen to each other and hear from God.

Come learn about what we call, "The Four Greats” and how it doesn’t work without you.

Region 5 Roundtable • KC KS

You're invited to the Spring Regional Roundtables for EveryKC, an initiative of Love KC. EveryKC facilitates business, church, and organization leader collaboration so every person in Kansas City has multiple opportunities to hear the good news of Jesus from a friend.

Regional Roundtables are a valuable opportunity to build relationships, share ideas, and find common ground.

Kansas City is so big and diverse no one ministry or church can reach every person in the city for Jesus. It takes all of us.

Regional Roundtables bring together ministry leaders, Pastors, and interested marketplace leaders to collaborate around fulfilling the five finish lines of the Great Commission:

  1. Prayer

  2. Compassion/Justice

  3. Evangelism

  4. Bible engagement

  5. Multiplication of communities, mircochurches, and churches.

Participants are invited to choose a finish line table and meet to understand better how to move each finish line forward, learn best practices, and where we are stuck. At the end of that time, we reconvene to debrief and pray before we go.

If we work as catalysts to bring the body of Christ together, the big C church will do what we are designed to do–collaborate in unity to fulfill the mission of Jesus in KC.

Region 5 Roundtable

God is moving in Kansas City, and the harvest is ripe!

Like never before, God is knitting the Body of Christ together with a common vision to see every soul saved. It's time to connect on our communities' real issues and focus on reaching the lost!

Join us as Christian leaders from different ethnicities, theological backgrounds, and burdens come together around tables to solve real challenges, build relationships, and dream about what we could do together that we couldn't do apart. This is not a new organization we are asking you to join; rather, we aim to bring together the family of God to look at the Great Commission in a new light and develop sustainable strategies built around long-term relationships.

Christian leaders from different areas of society (ministries, the marketplace, education, etc.) will bring their perspectives to the table as we discuss what it would look like to see every person reached and every area of our society touched and transformed by the gospel. At the end of our time together, we will leave with the next steps and be able to answer the question,” What area am I responsible for?”

We are imagining a future where each region meets 2x a year in meetings like this, where we work together to assess how our region is doing in 5 key areas:

  • Prayer

  • Bible Engagement

  • Evangelism/Discipleship

  • Compassion/Justice

  • Church or micro-church planting

We will track the fruitfulness through the year in each region, and once a year, each region meets to assess the progress we are making across the city over time.

It will take us time and effort to establish a baseline, but we will have a picture of what is happening across our city in a couple of years. Where there is progress, we will attempt to replicate it in other regions. Where there is a need, we will attempt to rally to the need.

Wyandotte County Pastors and Leaders Lunch

Suddenly it's in to pray. Just when it seemed as if the culture cancelled prayer, God had mercy when His people prayed. I think it started with Damar Hamlin's near death experience on the field. Sports anchors prayed while live and it was okay. Teams gathered in huddles on the field to comfort each other and pray without concern for what was politically correct or incorrect.

God moved in Asbury and the world took notice. Gen Z and Gen Alpha led the way. They sparked a revival fueled by the prayers of the previous generations. Outbreaks of revival appeared in other universities and reports are coming in from around the world. You know you don't have to go find revival, right?

We celebrate every step forward and the good news is, revival starts with you. Draw a circle around your feet with chalk and pray, send a revival here! God's willing. He's always been faithful. His message is consistent and compelling If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray...I will hear and heal the land.

I think what we've seen is an invitation to step into God's timing. It's a signal that God is willing to open heaven and pour out His manifest presence. Are you ready? Will you make yourself available?

We gather people to pray regionally in Kansas City. It's for people busy at work but not too busy to take a lunchtime and pray. The invite is to pastors and leaders, it's to people willing to pray. We share community. We encourage each other. We eat together. We protect the time from outside noise. We pray. You can register here. We will be gathering on April 11th from 11:30 -1:00 at Grounded Sole for prayer and community. Thanks to Grounded Sole for the space and the heavenly invitation.

Wyandotte County Pastors and Leaders Lunch

Leaders and Pastors value a place to gather at a common table, where the outside noise is

minimized, relationships deepen, and the opportunity to meet with God is prioritized.

When we expanded the Olathe meeting to Johnson County, we grew from 23 to 47.

Within two weeks, two contacts from Wyandotte County asked if we could host a similar

gathering there.

There is a growing desire in the hearts of God’s people to pray and live in John 17 unity.

Our hosts provide the space and your lunch hoping to add value to you and say, thank you, for your good work to bring heaven to earth.

We will meet on the first Thursdays of each month.

We pray that every person in Kansas City would be prayed for by name, every neighborhood adopted by a disciple living on mission, and everyone living in KC would hear the Good News of Jesus from a friend.
